ROON
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/8223811.stm Would be interested in anyone's views on this. Keeping mine to myself as last time I voiced them on China and Tibet situation I was told off for going off-topic, despite my strong feeling that this SHOULD influence our decisions over everything to do with our associations with this country. Keeping mine to myself as last time I voiced them on China and Tibet situation I was told off for going off-topic, despite my strong feeling that this SHOULD influence our decisions over everything to do with our associations with this country. In the end it's a matter for the Chinese and Taiwanese people to settle, and I'm sure China won't be influenced by anything we do. It seems to me that there are lots of things going on around the world that we might not like, such as in Burma, Palestine/Israel, Zimbabwe etc., but we don't really have any influence over any of them. :-(
