Mel B
The Snowman is usually on .. can't stand it! Of course, there's usually the ubiquitous Bond film of some sort and probably some Disney film such as Toy Story etc. Can't beat the Great Escape though!!! ;-)

davenewellhome
We've already watched one on Sunday afternoon, ELF. It was fun and soppy and sentimental and easier than turning the TV off :D . How's about "Its a wonderful life" ? D.

CliveH
Great film - all the uplifting films seem to be from just after the last war when the goal was a wonderful life. Now that many of us have what our parents strived for we seem more pre-occupied with death and disaster. Global warming fanatics just one of the ways the world is going to end! Now I hear that the BBC is going to revive that 1970's classic "The Survivors"! What is the betting the BBC will set it on the Island of Birmingham - all that is left of the UK after the Ice caps melt due to all of us Climate Criminals in our gas guzzling MH's and tow vehicles? Hymer C 9.
The Wizard of Oz. The kids seem to still love it.
BGD
One great one, but they don't seem to show it any more, was "Harvey". (The one about the giant rabbit). Another good one was the old black-and-white film where the old guy was up on trial because he claimed he was Santa Claus. The way the film ends is really good.
