..........

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jan/26/brexit-british-firms-mass-exodus-no-deal

"It said that in recent days alone, it had been told that 35 firms had activated plans to move operations out of the UK, or were stockpiling goods to combat the worst effects of Brexit."

Yes folks......that's 35 out of 75,000 ..........

Who have bought some extra stock or may leave the UK ........

Is it me?........ or is Armageddon not what it was? ..........

That's a bit greedy Dave - I don't think you can take sole credit for the failure of Armageddon!

It is prudent business common sense to stockpile ahead of price increases or shortages and it depends on how large the 35 companies are when compared to the total of the rest.

It would be daft to say that no companies are moving due to Brexit but it is also unlikely that Brexit is the only reason as suggested by the prophets of doom.

Just flagging it up as another example of Remoaner exaggeration Rich ........

Besides the views of BCC can hardly be described as representative of the 1.9 million UK businesses seeing as they only have 75,000 members ......
