She got 54% of the votes cast, does Fromage not understand irony. As clearly Tweetiepie and Curtainmuncher don't.

She was the only candidate provided by the German/France cabal and She won by JUST 9 votes ;-) .........

Hardly a ringing endorsement EU democracy is it? *-) .........

But there again you are a Socialist/Communist so you'll have a tendency to prefer dictators to democracy >:-) .......

Ironically I think you'll find she got 52% of the vote ;-) ..........

Hopefully the Brexit Party MEP's will demand another vote as the EU Parliament clearly didn't know what they were voting for >:-) ...........

Anyone else recognise something familiar about that winning margin? Come off it Dave, a win is a win, as you never tire of saying!

What do you want, Brexit on 52%, or Ursula von der Leyen on 52%? How long will Brexit bind the 48%, how long will Ursula von der Leyen be president?

Some definition of democracy! There is a word for people who support democracy when it delivers what they want, but deride it when it doesn't. It escapes me for the mo! :-D

Remind me again how many members of the Brexs**t party voted for their glorious leader? What none of them? Hardly a democratic party is it?

No, all on here know what you voted for - because you never stop telling us! :-D

We all know you voted for Brexit (you know, that Brexit Means Brexit, Brexit) and you've since declared that what you were actually voting for was a no deal Brexit. OK so far?

So now how about explaining, just this once, what you think that no deal Brexit means for the UK, economically and politically. Then we'll all also know what future for the UK you had in mind when voting, and then we'll know whether you really knew what you were voting for.

Should be easy enough: you've had over three years to mull it over! :-D

I thought a democratic vote needed at least two candidates. If you only have one it's a dictatorship. 8-)

It's a Damn sight more democratic than the Labour party which has been taken over by Communists >:-) ........

I can stop my support of the Brexit Party anytime I want ;-) ...........

Traditional working class Labour party supporters don't have a party anymore 8-) ............

Voting Tory for them will prolly be a step to far, so I suspect Farage will be the benefactor of all those millions of voters Corbyn's stabbed in the back by becoming a Remain party (lol) ..........

It means we can join the other 165 countries in the world that have no need to pay to be members of an expensive club ;-) .........

It also means we can negotiate our own trade deals B-) ........

No Dave, what we are scared of is that it would have the opposite impact on the UK economy, for which there is ample evidence, including from your very own, trusted, Conservative, government.

Where is your evidence that the government, the ONS, the OBR, and all serious economists, are all inexplicably wrong?

You've been eating in that Venetian restaurant again, haven't you? You've got squat diddly. :-D

My evidence that they are correct is that hat no-one of equivalent status has produced similarly detailed analysis showing otherwise. Their analyses are uncontested, other than by the unsubstantiated claims that the last time they produced economic analysis, they were wrong.

But I've said this before, stating why that claim is incorrect.

You, of course, ignored that then, so I've no doubt you'll do so again - and go on doing so until events prove you wrong - by which time the damage will have been done.

The problem with unicorns and other such beliefs is that no one can actually prove they don't exist, only that there is no evidence for their existence. Believers take that absence of proof as evidence for their existence. It is the same for all spiritual and religious beliefs. Nowt so queer as folk, is there? :-D
