I kind of admire May for sticking it out really and not just saying, get stuffed and walking away. I doubt she will be bothered at the comments at least I hope not. I am going to start making a list of all the decent politicians that are left out of all the major parties. It will be an interesting one and a fair one. I just bet though that most of them are not in the ERG or even the Tory party although there will be a few Tories for sure. We really are going down a terrible path. I wonder about our standing in the world. The only thing thats saved us from being the biggest laughing stock is Trump getting elected. (Sorry Antony). Whats funny is they can blame and shout and scream at May but whoever they put in her place will still have the same round holes and square pegs. Its like watching a dumb child repeatedly trying to bash the wrong pegs into the wrong holes. I lost some respect for May when she signed off Cameron's crony list, sending another 40 unelected cronies to the absurdly over-populated House of Lords. Then I lost some more respect for her when she called the election she said she wouldn't, and then bribed the DUP with £billions of our borrowed money to buy their votes. Effectively giving the DUP control of the Brexit negotiations, leaving England having to pay so much more to deal with the intractable problem of the Irish Border. Effectively ransom demands to buy Tory votes >:-) But she's very sharp, she easily made fools of the likes of Osborne in Cabinet meetings. We've already had the murder of one MP which previously had been unthinkable....do they seriously want another? Almost like you are watching it all unfold from somewhere else as it all falls apart. Perhaps something new will emerge from the ashes once Brexit sees the country on its knees. A new party led by people who put the country first, not themselves and their party. We can live in hope I guess. What you will probably get is a Corbyn led government. That wont bother me to much. Farage and three other UKIP MEP's did in the 2014 European election.....Janice Atkinson, Diane James, Ray Finch. Three years ago UKIP won 201 council seats.....three years later in 2018 they held just 3 seats. That seems very much like losing to me....198 seats to be precise. His followers probably once had dreams of him being their Messianic leader into cloud cuckoo Nirvana until like all the other pot stirrers, he ran off. The UKIP ship has sunk into oblivion.
