Rubbish......you've flitted from one job to another and openly boasted about living off benefits you said you "didn't really need".

Flitted?........Is being in the Navy for 10 years........Driving a bus for 4.......Running my own business for 27 years classed as flitting nowadays? .........

I suppose I went semi retired at 43. Not by some choice or because I had been so successful I could afford to knock it all on the head though (I had saved a few quid). It was because of the financial crash. By 2010 all the lucrative consultancy work I had and the nationwide specialist IT work we had just all went tits up. My turnover dropped over 90% in two years. So in 2009 I got a motorhome and buggered off for nearly ten years doing bits of work when and as I could on my return or while away. That kind of worked. Gone are the flashy cars, boats and luxurious villa holidays but since Brexit gone has pretty much the rest of the work. This year has been the worse ever.

Being disabled hasnt helped which has got worse but feck it. I dont regret it but Im now doing the sums and wondering how long I / we might live because post Brexit I reckon the "Austerity years" will seem like the boom times and here is the thing. Those that are smug now and think Im alright jack, should not be so cock sure unless you have a sh1t load of money in the bank or considerable assets your going to be stuffed when this sh1t storm kicks in as a few years from now there will be no hand outs probably, less work, pension age will probably be a hundred and probably no NHS.

Maybe its time to try a bit of flitting? .........

Hasn't done me any harm .........

You never mentioned what type of wood you used to knock that heap up. Unless it was solid ebony i'm struggling to fathom how you managed to arrive at a figure of £40 grand......and even if professionally built (didn't look it), you've been ripped off.

Hmm. Do you know anything about the kind of work I used to do? Probably not I guess. There is no such thing as a free and easy gravy train, well if there is Ive never had one. I worked hard and learned a lot of sh1t and got paid a lot for delivering it. It went tits up, Im not bitter about that, I bought a motorhome and went travelling rather than spend the next ten years demoting myself back onto the tools and trying to scratch a living with the rest of them that got hammered. I knew I could afford to pick and choose stuff that was worth doing and it worked for ten years. Its only the last couple its really gone downhill and I dont necessarily blame Brexit for that either.

As for being disabled, I dont think you have any idea. Im fooked. Cant even walk to the fecking car now. Im off to see a specialist tomorrow, will probably have me shot.

You clearly doubt some of the above then. Which bits? All of it? I can post my CV if you like and eventually the results of todays report on just how fooked I am if it helps. I hope your not one of those people that glowers at disabled people in Blue badge spots just because they look a bit young and are not flaying their hands in the air and spouting nonsense.

I reckon there are a few rock gods that would qualify for a blue badge Barry. One of my idols “Keef” Richards looks like a candidate. Hope you’re not in the same boat. It’s a pity the perennial fibber imputes his disingenuity to others on the basis of no evidence whatsoever.

A massive own goal coming from a bloke who likes to boast about his ex-navy days as an 'enabler of death' on a warship. Or are you now going to say you were making that up and really all you were was a deck scrubber on a banana boat?

I read his autobiography "Life" a couple of years ago. If you haven't read it it's well worth buying. I learned a lot about him. The 'bad' side of Keith, the drugs and drink, is well known but less known is his belief in family unit bond (he was an only child), his love of dogs (one he had was a stray he rescued when on tour in Russia), his first introduction to music as a Westminster choirboy which he loved with a passion. He's also a serious 'culture vulture' and well read up on the history of countries....a big reason why he still likes to travel.

Yeah me an Keef and other fellow Rock Gods have a lot in common. All those years dedicated to entertaining our public, the sex, drugs, rock n roll, bouncing about on stage, more sex, booze and more booze, all the groupies you can eat take their toll eventually. Antony (sorry Mr Birdbrain) is just jealous I think. I would swap my blue badge though to be able to dance about like he does at gigs even if he does dance a bit like a bald chimp on acid. There is a video somewhere, wonder if I can find it?

One line of business ended for Barry ... The free and easy gravy train ended with the crash ... But instead of adapting he went hell for leather down the bitter route , the blame it on the Tories/Brexit/POTUS Trump/Piutin/the weather route ... Most business adapt to a changing world but Barry being Barry didn't want to adapt and reduce his hourly rate so now hes in a not so good a place its every one elses fault ... "disabled" ... Your actually insulting proper disabled folk with that

If you say so Barry ... If you say so

Calm down fella ... Now from another forum you frequent more often than not your disability is put down to the liquid and food you chuck down your throat isnt it ... As for what qualifies someone to being disabled in your book from what you say above you defo qualify as more often than not from Brexit to POTUS Trump your "spouting nonsense" ... Lordy

After all, for some odd reason he thought i was an arms dealer.

Aaah so you absolve yourself from the responsibility of being an enabler of death by saying ...............

"I only made them guv" ..........

A massive own goal coming from a bloke who likes to boast about his ex-navy days as an 'enabler of death' on a warship. Or are you now going to say you were making that up and really all you were was a deck scrubber on a banana boat?

Thing is .........I never did kill anyone with all the bullets I fired ............

Can you say that about all the millions of bullets you made? ..........

Makes no difference as according to your own anal analogy that still made you an 'enabler of death'.

Can you say that about all the millions of bullets you made? ..........

Easily because once again using your ludicrous anal analogy, every vehicle production worker must be an 'enabler of death' as vehicles have certainly killed way more people in peace time than bullets have, apart from Trumps America where shootings are commonplace every day.

I told you your analogy was totally anal. If you knew anything at all about munitions which you obviously don't, you'd know they are an inert object. A vehicle isn't. It's ok....i know you'll need a very long time to figure this out as it's too complex for that single brain cell of yours to comprehend.
