Jeeezas! "Get Ready!"

Michael Gove to launch £100m no deal advertising blitz *next week* with slogan 'Get Ready'

No 10 toyed with calling it 'take back control' but decided it was too partisan

Whitehall is ordering t-shirts and mugs with slogan 'Get Ready'

Cummings is said to have been intimately involved in drawing up the plans

One minister said of timing: 'Dom Cummings is bringing a sub-machine gun to a knife fight'

We now have a complete Psycho running the country (Cummings not Boris) He was busy last night it seems also.

Cross him at your peril. Feckin ell. How long before "unbelievers" are brought before Cummings and he just dispatches them with a Luger?

Chilling......this was exactly how the Stasi operated. Javid is livid.

Sonia Khan, Javid’s media adviser, was escorted from No 10 by an armed police officer after a meeting with Johnson’s top strategist, Dominic Cummings, in which she was accused of being dishonest about her contact with the former chancellor Philip Hammond and one of his ex-advisers, who have been trying to block a no-deal Brexit.

A former Whitehall staffer who worked under Theresa May’s administration said: “There is a now a climate of fear operating in government that Dominic Cummings is trying to create. The fact they had her marched out the front door by a police officer – they clearly wanted to make an example of her. I think he knows that she’s absolutely not guilty of what she is supposed to be guilty of.

“There are now Spads [special advisers] who cross the road not to be seen with me. People are genuinely afraid to speak to me. That’s how bad this culture of fear has got.”

Lets just let that sink in for a minute. Dragged out of number 10 by armed police for "allegedly" having contact with "another" Tory MP who is trying to stop a no deal Brexit. As if that isnt bad enough were we not told that everyone was trying stop a no deal Brexit? Wasnt it just a few weeks ago that Doris was saying a no deal Brexit was a million to one chance? What were the words they all kept repeating? Oh yeah, nobody voted for a no deal Brexit was one and nobody is talking about a no deal Brexit an another.

Now it seems if you talk about not having a no deal Brexit your led away by armed police and "watched". When will we start to see the Herr Flick leather trench coats and monocles? How long before Steve Bray and the other SODEM protesters are "taken care of" and just disappear?

Worse still for Bojo it would have been the Truth 8-)

Taking control from the EU and giving it to BoJo >:-) - who now has power to appoint the judges - given to him by the same Unelected official who closed down the Elected parliament for him, and for whom he wants us to buy a new Royal Yacht... *-)

no shortage of police officers to defend Bojo & Cronies .......

Or to defend Jeremy Corbyn or Gordon Brown or Tony Blair.

What's your point? Well, apart from your usual whinging about our country and its institutions of course.

You're the man who claimed that Boris had 99 close protection officers. Do you just make things up because you like the sound of them?

I've never forgotten how you claimed that Prince Phillip has only lived so long because he drinks fresh blood from a teenage boy every day.

Or did I just make that up? With you there are so many utterly stupid claims that I'm having difficulty separating fact from fiction.

If you deliberately leak private government business you'll be sacked. Absolutely right.

But are you sure she was only 'dragged out by ten policemen'? I heard that she was stripped naked and flogged before her writing hand was chopped off.

There's no doubt though that you're right. I've heard that Dominic has a private Stasi all his own. Several people have already been disappeared ' and rumour has it that he's setting up camps where we can concentrate large numbers of anyone who supports remaining in the EU.

There are now many job vacancies because of this, and if any of them are for a drama queen, you're definitely in with a chance.

And since when was it normal procedure for someone to be sacked on the spot and escorted out of the premises without any consultation with that persons boss, who gave the Psycho Cummings that kind of power? I think Boris will regret employing that nutcase if he isnt already.

No, it didn't go over my head but it definitely went over the top.

You didn't say 10 policemen but my micky taking of your drama queen nonsense seems to have gone over yours.

If she leaked she deserves the sack and Cummings did the right thing. The Civil Service has lost its way and instead of impartiality we have politically motivated leaks all the time. But not any more I think.

If she was unfairly sacked then we can expect a huge wrongful dismissal claim. Somehow I don't think we'll see one.

And it's perfectly normal for someone to be sacked by the ultimate boss of her boss.

I suppose they could have taken off their guns so the poor dear didn't wet her knickers.

As I said. We can now expect a huge unfair dismissal claim. Or possibly not? Ha ha.

She can try to increase the damages by saying how frightened she was that the nasty policeman who escorted her off the premises had a gun. Of course having visited Downing St. many times she's probably too dozy to have noticed that the protection officers there actually have guns.

Poor thing. All she did (allegedly) is leak confidential government files, which is a breach of her contract, fundamentally dishonest and politically partisan.

So we can add sexism to the long list of wonderful 1970s values of "FunnyJohn".

Well, if it gives you pleasure please do so. However that would really emphasise why I call you Thick Barry.

You and I and others make scathing and sarcastic comments about lots of people. Suggesting that we should only be able to do this to men is very demeaning to women. It suggests that they're fragile and unable to cope with the stresses and strains of vigorous debate.

That really is very sexist and '70s.

Now, what were you saying about Anne Widdecombe?

Haha! Another one skewered!

Poor thing. All she did (allegedly) is leak confidential government files, which is a breach of her contract, fundamentally dishonest and politically partisan.

No you can expect a "Compromise Agreement" with a non disclosure clause - cost to the taxpayer circa £600k

Her photo was shown on TV ... standing next to Hammond.

I think we can work out why she was escorted off the premises. Naturally Hammond will not be tainted by the treachery, not when you can have a fall guy ... er dame.

Do you have any evidence for that or a link? And there'll be no need for a non-disclosure clause. That will be part of her existing contract.

I look forward to evidence and how you arrived at that figure.

All this of course assumes her guilt. If she is innocent she will go to law and get a far bigger settlement.
