Lizzy
A tree creeper was on the ground near our house so I picked it up. Huge claws! Beautiful colouring. It stayed in our utility room quietly for a few hours then Hubby put it outside at dusk - we will never know whether it survived.
kelly58
This time of year there are a lot of so called lost birds sitting around , but they are usually recently fledged and sit about awaiting for the parents to come to feed them until they can manage it themselves normally the parent is not too far away,so it is best to leave the young where they are unless they are in danger from marauding cats or other hazards its usually best to put them in a tree or hedge.
