Ideas for breakfast

Banana - slow release

Mixed fruit smoothies - can be prepared the night before and stored in the fridge or put into a vacuum flask

Porridge - slow release

Muesli with milk or cream

Toast with butter

Toast with honey

Toast with Marmite

Rich Tea biscuits

Cup of hot tea/coffee

Milk Shake

Breakfast depends on where you are. In Germany it should be fresh brotchen mit kase und wurst. In France, perhaps Croissants. In Italy, perhaps cold meat and cheese with bread. Only in UK, it appears that ceral is eaten. Certainly the UK 'full fry' doesn't appear in Europe. Might I suggest that the 'breaking of your fast' will depend on the plans you have for your day. If you are planning an energetic day with lots of walking, sightseeing etc, it may be prudent to have a large breakfast, thereby negating the need to stop and have an expensive lunch somewhere. Just stick a banana in your backpack for emergancies. :-)

Typical bloke - wants it all ;-) unable to make choices ........ won't ask so decides to go his own way .........

 

Just had a round of toast with butter followed by a chocolate croissant

Black pudding - M&S

Vine Ripened tomatoes - Sainsbury or Hienz Baked Beans

Mushrooms - M&S

Fried Bread - Warburtons super toasty

 

Followed by a cup of M&S Gold tea with milk but no sugar.

 

You cant beat a full English

 

We have this every weekend when at home or out in the van - loverly

Taylor’s Yorkshire everytime and

Have you SEEN where the milk comes from for heavens sake.
