If you are planning to go on holiday ....

 

 

What to do when you're sitting next to an annoying passenger on a plane?

 

1-Take your laptop out of your briefcase

 

2-Open the laptop slowly and calmly;

 

3-Switch it on;

 

4-Make sure the passenger is looking at it;

 

5-Get on to the internet

 

6-Close your eyes for a moment, open them again and look up to the sky;

 

7-Breath in deeply and open this site:(it needs sound)

But of course in a motorhome, car and caravan, or car with tent, the only annoying passengers are the ones we've taken with us :-D !

Another one:

 

Take a tin of Tesco's vegetable curry.

 

Empty contents into a disposable nappy.

 

Fold it up and put the nappy into a plastic bag.

 

Mid-flight, take it out of the bag, open it up, take a spoon from your pocket and proceed to eat the contents of the nappy.

It reminds me of when we used to run sea fishing boat trips out of Falmouth many moons ago.

 

We always advised 'new' recruits to bring a flask of vegetable soup for consumption during what could often best be described as a 'lumpy' trip.

 

That way if it came back up they could put it, or most of it, back into the flask and use it again as it looks the same both times!

 

If we were feeling really unkind we could remind them of this whilst the boat was being thrown all over the Western Approaches!

 

That sorted the men from the boys - but not as much as the presence of a live and very unhappy 50lb conger eel in the cockpit - that really got 'em jumping for cover!
