"Marine Le Pen’s right-wing National Rally look set to secure one more MEP than Emmanuel Macron’s En Marche, according to early exit polls.

Angela Merkel’s CDU/CSU coalition have lost a significant of their support to the Greens, with the European Parliament’s first projections showing a drop from 35.3 percent in 2014 to 28 percent today.

But the biggest losers in Germany look set to be left-wing Social Democratic Party, who have slipped into third place with a projected 15.5 percent of the vote."

A disastrous side effect of these elections is the rise of the Greens.

It will not be long before all vehicles are banned in Europe and motorways dug up and Organic Bean Sprouts being planted for hundreds of Kilometres. 8-)

You will not be allowed to drive your dirty polluting motorhomes anywhere in Europe soon. The lucky ones with small motorhomes and campervans can get rid of the drivetrain and pull it with a horse instead.

A resounding victory for remain!! :-D

34.9% Brexit + UKIP (Leave)

40.4% Libdem+Green+Plaid+SNP+ChUK (remain)

23.2% Labour + Tory (One remainery one a bit Brexity)

I would say thats a win for remain!

If you then add Labour to Remain and Tory to Brexit, the gap is much wider.

If you slice it this way the Brexiteers have done worse than 2014

UKIP + Tory 2014 - 43 Seats

UKIP + Brexit Party + Tory 2019 - 33 Seats

To quote the late great Iron Lady "Lets just rejoice in that news and congratulate our remain forces".

(lol)

I think that makes it 1 -1. Final vote. Remain vs No deal next.

The real battle here was the percentages and you lost, get over it. (lol) Maybe you should ask for another election until you get the answer you want. :D

What it actually shows us is that just 12% of the electorate voted for Farage and the other 88% chose not to.

In the interest of true democracy there is only one way to settle this now if the withdrawal agreement is dead and thats a proper Remain vs No deal referendum. If your so confident I am sure you will want to join me in campaigning for that wont you?

Whatever you think the Labour manifesto is or what their real stance on Brexit is the massive majority of their membership (pretty much all) and their voters are remainers. Adonis for example convinced many to vote labour as the best route to a second ref. Many also felt loyalty to Labour MEPs. Personally I stood on the vote for a pure remain party like Greens or LibDem but many remainers still voted Labour. Why would one single Brexiteer vote labour when it looks most likely they will back a peoples vote?

They were always going to get that sort of result, they basically just replaced UKIP. They didnt have to do anything or have a manifesto. They could have sent a chimp out (Well they did) with a Brexit rosette on and people would have voted for it. One things for certain though. There is no mandate for a no deal Brexit which is what they are advocating.

But less votes.

If you look at the number of seats for the Two Brexit parties that are left compared to 2014 they have actually gone down.

2014: CON + UKIP = 43 seats.

2019: CON + BREX = 33 seats.

No surprises. His history is well documented. Call a GE and his one trick pony party would be lucky to get one seat in Parliament. It will go exactly the same way as his Kipper party.
