I Dont remember writing any songs praising Jeremy Corbyn but it is true that I will save the world and stop Brexit with my Rock n Roll and probably end up at Glasto surrounded by Rock God chicks and everyone will live happily ever after.

Not so. My values havent changed but the Tory party certainly has. Its like the ToryKipper party now on steroids. When you listen to the likes of Heseltine or Major now its almost impossible to think they were leading the same party. Im all for getting rich Antony and admire those that do. Ive done ok under both Labour and Tory governments to be honest. I would vote for the BNP if it promised a second referendum to be honest as I see Brexit as the biggest issue and disaster the UK has faced since WW2 and it has to be stopped. Governments can easily be voted out but one that supports a second referendum or even just cancelling Brexit that has a chance of winning gets my vote, otherwise I doubt ill bother voting, none of them suit my politics now.

But the Libs suit your stance perfectly yet you refuse to vote for them and would rather vote for an anti-Semite and someone who admires the disaster that is Venezuela ... and you say Brexit would be a disaster ... Your mad and a bit sad

Im not mad keen on them either plus they have absolutely no chance of getting in, ever. If Corbyn gets in because he promises a second referendum or because the Tories have pretty much fcked Brexit up then the blame lies at the feet of Brexit itself and those that voted for it. I Dont think Labour would make a better job of Brexit either as they are also divided. I dont give a toss if Corbyn is an anti semite (I actually dont believe he is) all I Care about and millions like me is stopping Brexit. Its ironic that you call me mad when clearly the only thing that its totally batsh1t crazy is Brexit itself.

Once its all over (if its ever all over) I would like to see a new party emerge from the ashes of both Labour, the Tories, lib dems and the greens. There are some good people in all four. This may actually be the catalyst that just might give such a party a chance. The current Tory party is doomed and Im not sure Labour as it is will survive either long term.

So why not stop the political clap trap and favour towards one bunch of inept self centered mis fits over another bunch of inept self centred misfits?

Screaming Lord Sutch would smile if he could see them all now.

That isnt all I said though is it? I also said I dont think he is. Jeremy Corbyn may well be too far to the left for my liking but I Dont think he is a racist but the point is even if he was and I really couldnt stand him or his party I would still vote for him if he was the only option of getting Brexit stopped. Thats how desperate a situation it is. There are going to be racists of some level or other in every party, there are certainly plenty in the Tory party yet you support them so how do you square that one away. Then there is the UKIP lot many of which the Tories have inherited and if Arron banks gets his way he will flood the party with many more and they have certainly been riddled with racism.

So whoever you vote for your going to encounter racist members and politicians. Some of my friends are clearly "a bit racist". My Granddad was racist. So what? Not much I Can do about it. You just have to accept it and hope you can change their views or just accept them for what they are.

Hi,

There is no right or wrong about BREXIT. Everybody got a vote, all votes were equal. We each voted for what we wanted, though some were influenced by threats.

The LEAVE vote won.

From then on the whole country should have worked together. That is what democracy is all about. Instead we had a bunch of sore losers working against our independance. That meant that the United Rest of Europe had a Fifth Column working for them .... and still there is every chance that the Brexiteers will succeeed (I won't say WIN, as the Leavers do not resent the Stayers, even though it means we are fighting both the Stayers and the Rest of the EU with one hand tied behind our backs).

The EU Bosses do not want a settlement that benefits everybody .... they just want to be in charge. The UK challenged them ... how dare we? If we stay in the EU, we (including you) have lost. Do you think they are going to welcome us back into the fold with open arms? Or are they going to regard us as losers who they can walk over during the next round of negotiations. Far better if we leave, and if they want us back, THEY can invite us to return, and we can then dictate the terms.

Dave, We could put you and Antony or a Troop of Baboons in charge of the country and you or they would do less harm than Brexit will to the economy.

Well to be fair you only have to read the Brexpress and Daily Mail comments pages to discover that Alf Garnett and the Little Englanders are alive and (unfortunately) well. I doubt very much though that I accused anyone directly on here of being one or that I stated that all Brexiteers were but clearly some are of that ilk.

602

In a general election if you Voted for the Conservatives and Labour got in do you suddenly then decide you should back Labour because they won or do you fight on campaigning to persuade people to back your party?

What should have happened is a super majority requirement to move on to a second referendum once we knew the facts. Now all you have is complete division and its not only remain vs leave, even those that supported leave are divided and do not know what they want. There are basically five versions+ of Brexit and there is no clear majority for any of them and on top of all that all the polls consistently show a majority of the public now wish to remain.

Its a complete cluster fcuk.

If we do leave I hope we leave with no deal so the Brexiteers get what they voted for. No half in half out solutions. When we rejoin we will get no rebate, will be in Schengen and will have to accept the Euro. Good. Perhaps we will make a better job of our membership on a level playing field.

Do you think there would be any chance of a Corbyn government Dave if it wasnt for Brexit? If he gets in you have only yourself to blame. I think the rich are moving their money out of the UK because of Brexit to be fair. Even JRM has opened up shop in Dublin.

Yep ... Your mad ... You "don't give a toss if Corbyn is an anti-Semite" line has to be one of the worst comments on here we've ever had ... From you someone who's supposedly against racism I have to say I am utterly shocked

I think I get ya ... I just find it a little difficult to grasp someone who now says "so What" to those who are racist would insult Brexit voters with names like Alf Garnett types and so on and pick Dave Pelmet up on his supposed racism.not long ago

If your referring to the racist gybe the other day it was a joke FFS! Cant remember specifically referring to anyone on here as an Alf Garnett type either but please feel free to remind me of both accusations with relevant links.

Lordy im not Bullet i know a joke ... Your Alf Garnett and little Englander stuff were after Brexit as well you know

Well to be fair you only have to read the Brexpress and Daily Mail comments pages to discover that Alf Garnett and the Little Englanders are alive and (unfortunately) well. I doubt very much though that I accused anyone directly on here of being one or that I stated that all Brexiteers were but clearly some are of that

Of course they are alive and well as multiculturalism hasn't worked ... We don't live in harmony do we so obviously some will.harp back to days gone by ... You might think it has worked living in your whites only village and holidaying in your whites only locations ... Your not really in a position to knock anyone who might be a little Englander ... Oh I forgot you've a Muslim buddy you get p$ssed with and you used to work in London ... The business district of London

This country has always been multicultural though and who says it hasn't worked? Anyway we were referring to EU membership and Europeans are pretty much the same culture as us. All Brexit has managed to do so far is reduce immigration from the EU and increase it from outside of the EU where they are a different culture. Fail.
