Padlocked my bike to some railings in the city centre which I have done many times before. This time there was a Christmas tree there and when I came back my bike was gone, the lock having been cut, and a note on the railings wth a phone number. The council had removed it - when I enquired why I went to get it back they said it was because it was next to the Christmas Tree. Do intelligent people really believe in any god that would allow all the atrocities that have occurred in the name of any religion since religion began. ?
