'Defence Minister Heapy says its “entirely legitimate” for UK weapons to be used against supply lines inside Russia. Leading to Russian attacks on our supply lines inside other countries. 8-)

He doesn't appear to have consulted our allies over this 8-)

I suppose the most charitable explanation is he is too stupid to see that its a snub to our allies to escalate the conflict without consulting them first?

Because the other explanation is he is dividing us from our allies and escalating the conflict to draw attention away from calls for Johnson to go >:-)

Johnson's pooper scoopers are apparaently trying to 'clarify' his minister's remarks

....again

So, what happens if NATO finds out the weapons supplied to Russia by EU countries (78% via Germany and France) despite an EU embargo after Russia’s previous invasion of Ukraine and annexation of Crimea - are now being used against Ukraine?

I suspect such a “useful idiot” as yourself will be able to justify that…….

Presumably the same as when NATO "finds out the weapons supplied to Russia by the UK despite an EU embargo after Russia’s previous invasion of Ukraine and annexation of Crimea - are now being used against Ukraine?"

Thats something which has concerned me from the start of this war. Moldova is neither an EU or NATO member so has zero protection and is the poorest country in Europe. Putin could easily march his troops in there tomorrow.

Regards weaponry there is much willy-waving going on between countries and frankly they should know better.

Now Johnson pours petrol on the fire by revealing we are training Ukraine Soldiers to use British Weapons in Poland. Again without consulting our allies first - another gift to Putin

Are the Russians still hiring Johnson's party >:-(

'Gen Waldemar Skrzypczak, also a former junior defence minister, complained that a loose-lipped (Johnson) had revealed too much to the Russians and that his remarks risked the safety of the soldiers involved.'

He's obviously campaigning but talk about a loose cannon! *-)

He really is his own worst enemy......and ours! I'd suggest packing him off to the frontline in Ukraine except he'd only end up firing at the Ukrainian people. :-|

'Johnson and Truss have not declared that a Ukrainian deal is for Zelenskiy and his people to decide. They want him to keep fighting for as long as it takes for Russia to be utterly defeated. They need a triumph in their proxy war. Meanwhile anyone who disagrees with them can be dismissed as a weakling, a coward or pro-Putin. That this conflict should be hijacked by Britain for a squalid forthcoming leadership contest is sickening.'

In 2010 Jenkins argued in a Guardian article that the Falklands was “an expensive legacy of empire” and that the island should be given to Argentina

After watching this documentary a few nights ago and knowing the vast amounts of money we've poured into the Falklands, particularly post war, and the islanders hostility, he's possibly right.

After all it's worth remembering Thatcher was already secretly negotiating a deal to let go of the islands.

And in June 2010 in another bizarre rant he stated that the government should “cut (defence), all £45billion of it. With the end of the Cold War in the 1990’s the threat vanished”

Have you got a link to that *-)

As someone said - the Falklands war was like 2 bald men fighting over a comb :-S
