There are of course many far worse things to be plunged into than darkness as I'm sure you know!

Fortunately I must of been wearing a condom in 74 B-) .........

As I haven't suffered from any EU STD's(Socialist Transmitted Diseases) :D ......

Just checked for STDs on Wiki and this is what it tells us.

Socialist Transmitted Disease - also known as Corbynitis in the UK.

Early signs are unwillingness to listen to anyone else and egotistically convinced your own opinions are right and everyone else is wrong.

Highly contagious mental disease and easily spreads to other people especially those of weak mental capacity unable to think for themselves.

Very dangerous in later stages when delusions of grandeur make the sufferers believe they can walk on water and carry out other impossible dreams.

Rarely terminal but can have severe financial penalties for everyone except the perpetrators.

That seems to sum it up unless anyone else has experience of other symptoms?

The origins of this complaint are debated, as its roots are far back in history. One of its interesting characteristics is that it afflicts the followers of both right, and left, wing political persuasions in almost equal, but varying, proportion.

Most contested among the theories is the actual means of transmittal between the groups, with many claiming that the symptoms arise spontaneously as a result of extensive contact with people of like mind, causing their sense of proportion to erode to the point at which paranoid fantasies, and fear of alternative world views, begin.

It is notable that the left wing variant shares all the same characteristics as that on the right, except that the paranoia centres on the right wing as the focus of their anxieties.

This phenomenon has led many to conclude that allegiance to any political party is mentally deleterious. It is widely accepted among mental health practitioners that the condition is almost exclusively absent among those with no, or centrist, political leanings. The minority of dissenting voices is almost entirely limited to practitioners with strong political loyalties.

I disagree. The best way to avoid infection is to take down the fence, and then stand in its place.

It's pretty obvious which side of the ex fence your now standing ;-) ........

Yep, right where it stood.

The problem with the right is it thinks everyone else is on the left (as opposed to on their left), and vice versa, because they think the centre is also on the left.

Only those who occupy the middle ground can see the lunacy that inflicts both left and right.

It also helps us get our shoes on our right (and left) feet - thus ensuring perfect balance. :-D

Now that is most certainly true - so is it just the two of us on here that can see both sides of the missing fence?
