His girlfriend Helen McNee is the actress in the Bonjela advert.

Go on, show me yours.

Good morning. Here I am, all grizzled and sleepy eyed, warm and cuddly, having arisen from a deep slumber, filled with exciting dreams !
Like when I ran into a burning house, to find a generously proportioned female in a state of near nakedness, overcome by smoke inhalation, lying with limbs akimbo across her bed, awaiting deliverance from the ultimate fate of death from fire. Not a pretty sight. And how do you think it felt, to try to lift a body like that, at the same time, attempting to preserve some form of modesty on her behalf ? Not easy, I can tell you.
So ladies, please be prepared for all eventualities, and sleep with the teeth in

Hmm.. I think it must be every gal's fantasy to be rescued by a big strong man, but this does put a different slant on it - glad I've still got all my own teeth

oh, and plenty of smoke alarms

Just make sure the smoke alarms have batteries in them. Many are the times where alarms failed at the moment of crisis 'cos someone had borrowed it for the tranny or summat.
And if you need someone to test them for you., ask a fireman.
PS Here I am

Hi Janine

With your obvious liking for bikinis (and no complaints there) why not get the scissors and cooking foil out this year and have a bit of fun.

Cheers

Dave

"OUR Old Git" Janine?????

Don't get me over-excited again girl - pacemaker batteries don't last long anyway with those new avatars of yours and Michele's.

If you are going to get possessive make it one at a time please. I never was much good in a menage-a-trois (kept changing my mind) but these days I doubt if I could "menage" one at a time

Regards

Ahhh.. so you admit to merely being 'elderly' and not 'old' now

I think some interrogation might be in order...

a) Which was the first war that you remember?
b) How old is Mrs Dave?
c) How old is your oldest pair of underpants?

a) I was quite upset by the Charge of the Light Brigade, when most of the 43rd East Cheam Light Arse Hortillery were slaughtered, but I was quite small at the time so didn't really understand.
b) Who says there is a Mrs Dave? I'm not sure, but I don't think I'm legally married.
c) Can't remember, but they are down in the shed for putting polish on bits of wood. I'll go down and see if there's a date on the laundry mark if you are really interested.

I'll bet this will take your mind off harassing frail old gentlemen Janine-with-dogs.

Our new puppy, though we haven't got her yet. She's not due to be born for another 10 weeks, but will look just like this when we get her. She's already got a name too!

Nice try Michele, but any cash left over when whichever of us is last to fall off the perch is left to the Dogs Trust - along with the mutt if she's still going.

Thought you had me then didn't you
