Bulletguy
An elderly French lady who came to UK as a post war migrant in 1951, a certificate of registration and ID card being the only evidence she has as proof. Now living in sheltered accommodation she's been contacted by council to attend a meeting to discuss her "status in the UK". This lady is 96 years old FGS!! :-( A Bulgarian lady who came to UK 10 years ago, worked for 6yrs as a carer paying NI and 3yrs self employed sending in tax returns....yet "the system" couldn't find her address for the past 6mths never mind 10 years. How many more are going to get caught up in another Windrush debacle before a government with moral decency, humanity and compassion put an end to this draconian insanity? https://www.channel4.com/news/settled-status-fee-for-eu-nationals-waived
