Lived in Liverpool for thirty-odd years and the nearest site I know is in Acton Bridge, Cheshire which is 40 minutes away from L'pool city centre as long as it isn't rush hour and the Runcorn / Widnes bridge is operating normally. There are two in Southport, one in Warrington, one in Thurstaston on Wirral (probably nearer - 0151 6485228 - Wirral Country Park Caravan Club Site), and one in Whitegate. Got 2 kids living in Liverpool, 1 went through uni and the other just starting they love it to bits, and are happy and settled apart from 1 mugging and 2 breakins and seeing a stabbing, so don't think they'd move to the Cotswolds too quiet. (Daughter now works in A+E at the Royal) Southport good site but we wanted somewhere where we could be nearer the centre.
