So Nigel nows says it doesn't matter what the economic fallout is, we can all be worse off and that's still a win for democracy.

Based on the accuracy of Remoaner Doom Monger predictions so far ;-) .........

I'll take the risk that they'll more likely be a Brexit bounce B-) ........

It's Ironic though that a Corbyn voter should be concerned about causing the UK economic damage???? 8-) ........(lol) (lol) (lol) .........

So the millionaire Nigel Farage with his EU pension says it doesn't matter if we are worse off following Brexit because its a democratic principle that we have to honour a vote made on a bed of lies many of which he spawned? Try telling that to the thousands of people who lose their jobs or those that voted because they were promised more money for the NHS and a raft of fantastic trade deals that would bring prosperity.

What a Twunt!

I thought he was leaving the UK anyway. He said if Brexit was a disaster he would go and live somewhere else. Its a disaster Nigel! Off you Fcuk!

When are you going to Swindon to tell this bullcrap to the seven million folk there who will be losing well paid work and their homes? I challenge you to spend a day there telling them how "Brexit isn't a disaster" and "we're thriving".

Tell the same to families of 3.7 million children living in abject poverty through years of punitive Tory austerity measures, condemned by UN special rapporteur Prof Alston....a person more used to reporting on third world countries.

Your inability to show empathy for fellow humanity is staggering. More a case of "fcuk you...i'm alright Jack"......and you'd be the type first in line to 'do a Schettino'.

Quit acting the village idiot clown and treat a serious matter sensibly for once. 3.5 million directly employed with a further 3.5 million in the supply chain. Given it was the towns major employer....it will wipe out many unrelated small businesses, pubs, cafes, newsagents, convenience stores etc.

Do you know what a car is? Do you know what trains are? Do you know what buses are? Do you know what motorcycles are? Do you know what cycles are? All are modes of transport to convey a person from point A to point B such as their homes to their place of work. Amazing isn't it?

Do you understand the difference between 'directly employed' and 'employed in the supply chain' means? I don't think you do do you? Have you considered going back to nursery and starting with some easy reader picture books because i think primary school would be out of your depth.

Dave, what most who would prefer to remain in the EU don't accept, is that the UK will be economically better off if we leave.

Brexiters have completely failed to show how this might be the case, and economists generally have repeatedly said that no version of Brexit will be economically better for the UK than being in the EU.

The only way we shall ever know who is right - the optimists or the economic realists - will be to leave.

If we do, the truth will take anything between 5 and 15 years to emerge. Then it won't matter a hoot who accepts what, because the reality will provide all the evidence.

That is what you don't, won't, can't understand. We all know what the referendum outcome was. But a majority doesn't turns a bad idea into a good one, and Brexit, on all the forecasts, is a bad idea. What's to accept?

And seeing as your leaver experts were either lying through their teeth or grossly underestimated what leave would entitled:

(1) More money for the NHS

Vote Leave’s battle bus said: “We send the EU £350 million a week. Let’s fund our NHS instead”

“Instead of sending £350 million per week to Brussels, we will spend it on our priorities like the NHS and education.” – Vote Leave briefing

“After we Vote Leave on 23 June, the Government should use some of the billions saved from leaving the EU to give at least a £100 million per week cash transfusion to the NHS.” – Michael Gove, Boris Johnson, and Gisela Stuart

(2) More money for farmers

“The UK government will continue to give farmers and the environment as much support – or perhaps even more – as they get now.” – George Eustice, Minister for Farming, Food and Marine Environment

(3) More money for scientists

“If we Vote Leave, we will be able to increase funding to science and still save billions” –Vote Leave

(4) More money in your pocket

“Wages will be higher for working people outside the EU… because pay will no longer be undercut by uncontrolled migration.” – Boris Johnson, Michael Gove, and Gisela Stuart

(5) And scrapping VAT on fuel bills and tampons

“In 1993, VAT on household energy bills was imposed… When we Vote Leave, we will be able to scrap this unfair and damaging tax.” – Boris Johnson, Michael Gove, and Gisela Stuart

‘After we Vote Leave… We will need a carefully managed negotiation process and some major legislative changes before 2020, including taking real steps… to abolish VAT on fuel and tampons” – Chris Grayling

(6) No EU beneficiaries left worse-off

“There is more than enough money to ensure that those who now get funding from the EU – including universities, scientists, family farmers, regional funds, cultural organisations and others – will continue to do so… We will continue to fund EU programmes in the UK until 2020” – Boris Johnson, Michael Gove, and Priti Patel (amongst other signatories)

(7) And no short-term economic disruption

“After we Vote Leave, there won’t be a sudden change that disrupts the economy.” – Boris Johnson, Gisela Stuart and Michael Gove

(8) We’ll get brand new trade deals all over the world

“We would immediately be able to start negotiating new trade deals… which could enter into force immediately after the UK leaves the EU” – Chris Grayling

(9) There’ll be no damage to trade with the EU

“There is a European free trade zone from Iceland to the Russian border and we will be part of it… Britain will have access to the Single Market after we vote leave… The idea that our trade will suffer because we stop imposing terrible rules such as the Clinical Trial Directive is silly.” Vote Leave

(10) Or our cooperation with the EU

“We will negotiate a UK-EU Treaty that enables us 1) to continue cooperating in many areas just as now (e.g. maritime surveillance), 2) to deepen cooperation in some areas (e.g. scientific collaborations and counter-terrorism)” – Vote Leave

(11) Guaranteed in a treaty which we’ll sort out before 2020

“It will be possible to negotiate a new settlement with the EU, including a UK-EU free trade deal, by the next general election in May 2020” – Vote Leave

(12) Which won’t have any obligation to follow EU laws

“The supremacy of EU law and the jurisdiction of the European Court over the UK will come to an end” Vote Leave

(13) We’ll cut immigration

“I wouldn’t set a time limit for it but the ambition would be to bring it down to tens of thousands.” – Michael Gove

(14) With a new system in place by 2020

“By the next general election, we will create a genuine Australian-style points based immigration system.” – Michael Gove, Boris Johnson, Priti Patel and Gisela Stuart

(15) That doesn’t favour EU citizens

“Those seeking entry for work or study should be admitted on the basis of their skills without discrimination on the ground of nationality.” – Michael Gove, Boris Johnson, Priti Patel and Gisela Stuart

“[We will introduce a bill to] end the automatic right of all EU citizens to enter the UK by the next election” – Vote Leave

(16) But which gives Irish citizens total free access

“The right of Irish citizens to enter, reside and work in the UK is already enshrined in our law. This will be entirely unaffected by a vote to leave on 23 June.” – Michael Gove, Boris Johnson, Priti Patel and Gisela Stuart

(17) And stronger border controls

“There is one absolutely clear-cut dividend from leaving the EU. That is our ability to regain control of our borders, including far stronger powers over who we can deport, and proper preventative checks at the border.” – Dominic Raab

(18) But no controls on the Northern Irish land border with the EU

“There will be no change to the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic.” – Michael Gove, Boris Johnson, Priti Patel and Gisela Stuart

(19) And the union with Scotland will be stronger than ever

“If we vote to leave then I think the union will be stronger… I think when we vote to leave it will be clear that having voted to leave one union the last thing people in Scotland wanted to do is to break up another.” – Michael Gove

pelmetman - 2019-04-23 3:30 PM...………………...I guess it depends on whether Remoaners will accept a 2 nil score in the ballot box? :D .......

Seeing as your Remoaner "Expert" predictions to date have PROVED to be not just wrong......but totally and utterly wrong ;-) ...........

So based on that evidence.....I'll take your so called economists "Predictions" *-) ........With a large bucket of salt (lol) .........

You more than anyone on here should know how good the UK taxpayer is for providing "FREE" funding >:-) .........

If Scotland or NI want to have a referendum ;-) ..........

That's fine by me.......and if they decided to leave the Union........I wouldn't complain endlessly :D ........

Unlike some anti democratic folk I know *-) ........

Farage says Brexit party victory at Euro elections could stop second referendum - live news

Im not sure what we will be able to tell from the European elections though. How would you count up the votes as a vote for Remain? Many will vote for Labour for example in the hope that they will offer a confirmatory referendum and / or because there is no chance of a solely remain party candidate getting a seat in their region so do you count all labour votes as a remain vote or just some of them?

The only way to find out for sure is a straight forward two way referendum on the final deal. Mays deal vs remain. Latest polling on just in or out is 58% remain 42% leave.

Its simple ;-) ......

You discount the Labour & Tory Lemmings as they're obviously not bright enough to use their vote effectively :D .......

Then add the Loser party......Ooops I mean't "Remain" votes to the Green, Lib Dems, SNP's ......and compare them to how many The Brexit Party & UKIP get :-> ......

As I thought. *-) You cannot discount the labour votes. I will probably vote for our two Labour MEP's here as I know them well and they do a great job. There is no chance of whoever stands in the North East for a remain party getting a seat. So are you suggesting Im not a remainer?

Looks like your going to help dilute the Remoaners vote even further then :D ........

Keep up the good work ;-) ........

Come the next general election and the expected cull of Remoaner MP's by their constituencies, I can see the final score being 3 nil (lol) .........
