StuartO
I’m struggling to see the value of “Jeremy’s Surrender Bill” as Boris has called it. Even if it passes, the best it can achieve might be to put Boris to the trouble of repealing it as soon as he wins the upcoming General Election - and the polls suggest he will. I suppose Labour could keep ducking an election until after October 31st, so that Labour’s delay of Brexit will have at least started. But could this Bill result in a fixed period of extension to Article 50 for example if the EU says you can have a year or nothing (or five years or nothing, or ten, or twenty) with no option to shorten this?
