flicka
Not appropriate to most of us, but for those born on or before 2nd September 1929. I have read that the Home Office have made a consession, in recognition of the sacrifices made by WW11 veterans & civilians, that they no longer have to pay for their UK Passport renewal. To claim a free passport, application forms are available at Post Offices (if your's is still open >:-( .). or ring th eHome Office on 0870 521 0410. Pity they could not have introduced it earlier when the WW11 veterans were more able to travel to pay their respects to their fallen colleagues. Mike Parke
You do not think for one moment that H.M.G. would have dated it so that a lot of people get a free passport, do you? (Especially those who travelled widely between 1939 & 1945 without a passport!!) Regards Mike
