John52 Posted January 11, 2021 Share Posted January 11, 2021 I am all in favour of the whole of the UK being told the TRUTH about what its costing them to maintain BoJo's empire and Her Majesty's Tax Havens, and given a vote on it. Instead of all the guff about their being self-supporting, ignoring what we spend on their defence etc etc But neither BoJo or HM are likely to agree to that. They would rather you keep paying to maintain their empire. Someone likened the Falkland Islanders vote to the Israeli settlers in Palestine voting on whether they want to remain Israelis Or all the other tax havens voting on whether they want the British taxpayer to continue paying for their defence etc etc so they can cut their taxes whilst we have to increase ours to pay for them.
