Wingpete
Watch out for someone called LEE, who offers to buy your goodies, and wants to send a cheque far in excess of your price, but "wants" you to send the balance to his other account ! Old scam, but be careful out there . He wants to pay me £2000 for the HEO locks I ask £135 for.
JohnP
Hi I have had two contacts from Lee, one for each of my adverts. I did not reply to his emails because the wording made me suspicious, bad spelling and grammar. So watch out all of you advertisers on Out and About Live "Buy and Sell". Administrator
Yes, this is an old scam, and an unfortunate one - this type of scammer preys on the gullibility of others and sadly there are still some people who fall for it - glad to see you're not one of them! We've now posted warning messages on the 'Cash Mart' section to warn about the dangers of scams like this and can only ask that they're heeded; seems that there are still some people out there who are intent on ruining the internet for everyone.
