Neither do they respect statues of slave traders.

Or diminish our country by sucking up to Trump, like Patel, Gove, Raab, and BoJo did

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/jan/10/johnsons-sycophancy-over-trump-has-diminished-britain-says-nandy

Tory PMs and cabinet ministers falling over each other to ingratiate themselves with Trump has got us where exactly?

Trade deal to replace what they have lost from the EU ?

Justice for Harry Dunn?

...'Special relationship' with the USA *-)

The incoming president will have more respect for those who had the backbone to stand up to Trump, ...

like Nicola Sturgeon :-D

Good to see that she recognises that the system of PCC put in place by the Tories alongside the slashing of the number of police by 14% or 20,000 has led to a failure in a key public service. For the record the Police Federation did tell the then Home Secretary Theresa May that this would fail, another bunch of experts the Tories chose to ignore.

Whatever your opinion of her performance she deserves respect for going on the programme and answering unscripted questions from Piers Morgan.

When does Priti Patel or BoJo do that *-)

Chuckle...

Metro.co.uk: 103 migrants detained in one day after crossing Channel in freezing fog.

https://metro.co.uk/2021/01/10/103-migrants-detained-in-one-day-after-crossing-channel-in-freezing-fog-13879731/

But But but what about the Gunboats and Cruellas fence?

It says they will return those that have no right to be here. It will interesting to see where they return them to as the French dont have to accept them now we have left the EU.

Its absolutely crackers though in the depths of winter. One of these days a boat will sink and they will all be dead within a very short space of time. How desperate must you be to take that risk? Very sad.

"How desperate must you be to take that risk" ... One has to wonder why the women, children and old aren't quite as "desperate" as the young male chancers ... Maybe you can put one up or is it more Septic hypocrisy ???

Report says there were women and children amongst them. Nigel Farage can take em. Its his fault we cant now send them back to France. Plus he lives in "The Toilet of England" so is nearer.

Chuckle ... "children" like those 30 year old chancers pretending to be children ya mean ... You obviously dont wanna help now then and all that false 'concern' was just the usual hot air then I presume and as usual let someone else deal with it ... Very brave, very Septic

She backed Derbyshire Police for fining 2 women for exercising 5 miles from home.

Then changed her mind when her boss was spotted exercising 7 miles from home

If not, why did your hero back Derbyshire police for fining people nearer to home?

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jan/09/priti-patel-defends-police-crackdown-on-covid-lockdown-rule-breakers

Point is that if the police are going to hand out £200 fines the law should be clear, and it isn't. So whose fault is that *-)

This fine was rescinded due to a nationwide media campaign.

Others would not have been so fortunate, and £200 may be a lot of money to them.

If they want to appeal it in court they risk having to pay the prosecution costs as well as their own 8-)

Currently cases like these are taking over 4 years to get to court >:-)

How many people could go through all that on top of everything else?

Most will just pay, or leave it till the charges escalate and baliffs turn up.

Just publish some rules. Its quite simple. What does local mean? 1 mile? 20 miles? 40 miles? Just say you can travel for local exercise but only up to say 10 miles from you home until further notice. I argued for this during the first lockdown but what did we get? Just go where you like and that resulted in millions travelling to the same place, state of emergency in Bournemouth, local beauty spots here trashed and the army called in. Thankfully its winter now but I do know that tourists are still coming to Richmond and Barnard Castle from towns like Darlington and Middlesbrough. Of course Barnard Castle tourism soared thanks to Cummings, right when we didnt need it.

Rates of infection are low here and we would like to keep it that way.

Prickly Patel keeps saying....the rules are clear.

There have been 76 changes to the rules since March.

Yes but she is almost as big a moron as Johnson.

All they have to do is go on telly and say

No travel more than 10 miles from your home for exercise or any other reason until further notice unless its for essential work that cannot be done from home or other unavoidable circumstances such as crucial hospital treatment. £200 fine if breached. (each person)

There! Done it for her. Just read that out.
