Not one footing been dug or a single brick laid. However as the Tories have been in government the past ten years, PFi is still the mess it's always been. It's damaged the NHS for many years to come and quite how we ever get out of it I honestly don't know. There are a number of articles on it....none favourable at all. https://www.nhsforsale.info/privatisation/other-issues/pfi-new/ Aside from PFi, a major problem for Stoke hospital is other outlying large hospitals, Stafford and Crewe, have had certain departments closed to cut costs resulting in their patients descending on to Stoke hospital. Same with any smaller hospitals too...all the folk get sent to Stoke. It has patients coming in from as far as 35 miles away which is bloody crackers. That was New Labour Done to keep the debt off the balance sheet I believe. Overpriced, terrible deal for the taxpayer - But at least it bought something useful. Unlike the absurdly overpriced, useless and non-existant PPE this government have paid their mates for in advance. BoJo doesn't need to hide the debt because with an 80 seat majority there is nothing you can do about it. When BoJo's ministers are found to have broken the ministerial code, its the investigator who resigns.
