Brilliant scripting and acting and gorgeous star ..... Janine you can have the sexy, sulty man behind the bar if you like , as he was gorgeous too. davenewellhome Posted August 5, 2009 Share Posted August 5, 2009 Its a new TV drama about a member of the Irish Garda who essentially has to "Single handed" sort out the corruption in his area, his plight is compounded by the fact that his Father, the areas previous Garda, is at the centre of just about all the corruption in the area. ROON Posted August 9, 2009 Author Share Posted August 9, 2009 Mel, In case you are watching it tonight.... briefly the story last week which may somehow come into this week's story is that a young woman commited suicide in a caravan. The hero thought it was murder, but when he looked into it it WAS suicide, as she was pregnant and it was HIS father (a right b*st*rd) who had taken the girl's passport - she was foreign - and made her prostitute herself to his friends. His son found out that his father had also years before made a fifteen year old girl pregnant, arranged for one of his friends to say the baby was still-born (took you to the grave and all ... was really sad) but in fact was to MURDER it 8-) . Then he found out that the man had not murdered it, just said he had because he was afraid of the man's father ... he had taken it to his sister who brought it up as his own.... BUT THEN THE CRUNCH....... this was the little girl who had grown up and who the hero had fallen madly in love with and was having a relationship .... but it was therefore his own sister (cos it was his dad's baby). He knew that she couldn't handle it so he just finished with her telling her he never loved her and was just using her and she went back home.... not knowing the truth.
