Lizzy
GRRR! That bl...y banner is covering my control box so I can't see whether I have any private messages GRRR! I hate C.mas and do not want it in my face everytime I open up - click here to order, save up to 50% etc., etc....... Whose bright idea was it to place it there >:-(

twooks
I've got a deep red banner for 'the christmas gift' next to O&ALive at the top and down the right side - well clear of any useful info B-)
Tony Jones
I've not got one at all. Is this an example of "smart" advertising - targetting likely punters? Tony
twooks
doubt it Tony, my credit's done and downright gone, mind you you I only have the right hand banner now, so perhaps they've sussed that I'm not that good a mark :D B-)
Lizzy
It's still covering my 'box' so can't see whether I've any PMs GRRR!
Mel B
What browser are you using? The banners etc can be in different places depending on which browser you are using for the web. Try a different one if you have one and see what happens.
Tony Jones
If we're talking about this one, I've only just found it. On my Internet Expl 6 it's way over on the right, so I only see it if I use the scroll bar - well done Microsoft (for once)! Tony

I have IE6 and Firefox 2.0.0.9 and on neither of these does it cover up anything. And it's not nearly as annoying as the last one they stuck on us. I suppose the YTS kid is still working for them :-D
BGD
Is it possibly a question of the size that you have set your screen display to? I've got mine at 1024 x 768, and whilst the banner appears on the right of the page, it doesn't overlap or interfere with the rest of the visible page. Ralph
Tried that. I dropped my browser width and all that happens is the banner disappears off the side as Tony described. Still doesn't cover up anything.
