If all of a sudden we get lucky and for whatever reason have a lower death rate than those funny foreigners then the fact that our grand total of deaths far exceeds Europe and most other countries and the fact that the government have handled the pandemic from day one so badly is simply cancelled out. One thing most of us should have learned by now though is not to be smug when comparing covid stats because as we have seen time and time again it can turn around very quickly. On average the UK has a higher death rate even now when we are doing better because its not our turn right now than the EU on average if you group them together (which you like to do) since the start of the pandemic. There are lots of factors at play as to why our death rates have gone down but none of them can be attributed to the morons you support in government. Tell you what.
