What is your problem with admitting the obvious? - illegal immigrants come for our black economy

I don't expect a sensible answer

So I can only guess its political dogma that prevents us employing enough factory inspectors to enforce EU law in places like the virus spreading garment sweatshops in Leicester that employ illegals, and are the real reason they pass through France to get here.

not escaping from 'War Torn France' to our 'Land of Milk and Honey' *-)

"French authorities have been seen ushering migrants' boats into UK waters before they are collected by British officials"

And this from Cruella . :-D She urged the French: “Show willing, work with us,” adding: “It is doing their country no good whatsoever.”

Well it is, they are getting shot of their migrants! (lol)

I cant imagine what it is that has made the French not that fussed about keeping them from crossing, they used to be so good at it. I wonder what we did to upset them?

Cruella wants to send them all back to France though she says. I wonder if she realises that post Brexit we wont be able to because there will be no Dublin agreement. None EU migration I gather is at the highest level since records began since Brexit apparently. Wow! I guess it will make those arriving in the rubber boats blend in a bit better now though.

Clearly we can't start shooting at the small boats trying to make the Channel crossing and equally clearly the French aren't likely to solve the problem for us.

Maybe we need to start transporting all landed refugees/migrants/asylumseekers to some offshore location for accommodation and processing like the Australians were/are doing, so that they don't actually stay in UK and thereby achieve their goal by default.

Gibraltar perhaps? There's a lot of underground space for humane accommodation to be constructed inside the Rock if not in the fresh air and the climate is reasonable. And then if they do escape into N Africa or Spain they will still be some distance (in fact much further away) from UK than they started from. Perhaps the word would get around that entering UK illegally is not a good idea.

Gibraltar perhaps? .

Its a myth to think Gibraltar is British.

If Gibraltarians were really British they would be paying British taxes for their defence, like the British do.

he British Navy has to have the permission of the Gibraltar Government to enter the harbour.

So good luck with getting them to accept illegal migrants *-)
