Steve
Does anyone know of any local suppliers around midlands/SYorks who can assess and repair an intermittent flushing problem. Thetford have given some possible causes but being a novice I need someone who knows what they are doing! Any information will be greatfully received Thanks Steve Please reply via bassettbullen@tesco.net or via this thread.
Ranger
Hi Steve, you did not say if it is hand or electric flush. If it is hand, the valve chest at the base of the pump can be knocked partially off when returning the handle to its parked position, causing intermitant flush, I had that happen as it is held on by plastic integeral clips. I bought a new pump but I have since repaired the old one, so I wasted my money. The valve system is a very simple set of rubber non-return valves, easy to take out the pump and have a look. If you have an electric flush, sorry I don't know, but I expect Clive will be along soon and he will know for sure.
