It seems a generous and helpful gesture, especially for those who have moved to Spain in retirement, and now have property that is worth, as a percentage of UK property prices, far less than when they bought - so would have been in deep trouble if forced to re-patriate. Yes it's good to see law abiding citizens treated properly and well done Spanish government for telling UK it has to be reciprocal within two months otherwise they will withdraw it.
