Its a gift for the likes of Dehenna and of course Johnson. Let the public get all outraged and at the 11th hour save the day by refusing to take the pay rise, even better if you can make it look like Labour were in favour of the pay rises in the media. *-)

Desperate to deflect from their blatant abuse of taxpayers money and the catalogue of horrors wreaked by Johnsons government as an excellent report John posted yesterday shows. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/nov/28/politicians-were-once-held-to-account---now-nothing-stands-in-their-way

WTF are you on about? So anyone from the Private sector that does work for the public sector has their snout in the taxpayer funded trough? Plumbers? Electricians? Builders? Pelmet and Puff makers?

Actually what I did for the public sector will have increased revenue for the treasury as any projects I worked on added value to businesses and increased productivity and profit. Should I have done it for free?

No, I have not. Gloated that is. I had a long term contract with the public sector as an ICT Consultant and the money from that came from various sources, some of it was indeed EU money. So what? As I said, it was a win win for everyone. The businesses and communities it served and ultimately the treasury and the economy. The main reason the team was put in place was that public sector business advisors did not have a clue what they were doing and the entire system of funding for ICT projects was floored and in some cases corrupt. So that was another bonus. We stopped the spaffing of your money in back handers and failed projects.

This is strange. One the one hand, Dave is exultant that Boris pledged to get his 40 hospitals built.

On the other hand, he accuses a forum member of "sticking his snout in the trough" a.k.a. morally deficient, for accepting payment for work he did for government.

On the third hand, he is happy himself to have accepted payment for his pelmets and pouffes made for his clients, yet does not regard that as "sticking his snout in the trough" of their assets.

On the fourth hand, he is happy to have worked as a directly employed, housed, and fed, (at taxpayer expense) matelot for some years, and to have earned himself a taxpayer funded pension for so doing, yet does not regard himself as "sticking his snout in the taxpayer funded trough" by so doing.

On the fifth hand, he is happy that all those hospitals will be designed and built by private contractors, who he seems not to regard as sticking their "snouts in the taxpayer funded trough" by taking government payment for so doing.

So what, really, is he objecting to? Does he really think people employed by government should work for nothing? Would he have worked for nothing? Is being on the government payroll really so reprehensible? Does he refrain from using taxpayer funded roads etc. to avoid taking benefit in kind form the taxpayer? He does seem dreadfully confused! :-D

Of course I was well paid. Would you expect an ICT Consultant with twenty years experience to be paid minimum wage? Being well paid is not an implication of being overpaid. In fact if I remember rightly if anything we were underpaid compared to what you would have billed in the private sector but the amount of work involved and how it was delivered in modules did result it it being fairly lucrative but it wasnt my core business. I was still running an IT company at the same time. No spaffing was involved and you had to jump through some considerable hoops and accreditations to make the team.

C'mon Barry, you're forgetting who you're arguing with! This is Dave Pelmet, for whom any money he earned was derisory, and any money anyone else earned was extortion. Logic and reason are pointless under any circumstances. His sole aim at present is to irritate those who disagree with him, no matter the subject. He is simply trolling - because he's bored and can't think of anything else to do.

yeah I know, Im just playing along. (lol) Its gonna be a long winter and we only have 30 days of Daves trolling left as after Brexit day he intends to hide in a fridge with Johnson I gather. Maybe Johnson will hide with him in his posh greenhouse. I guess it might be warmer than the fridge at least.

I just fixed the computer that is being used to design and print the Oxford Vaccine labels (yes really). Seeing as I am being accused of extorting money out of the government and as it seems open season for spaffing money left right and centre, I reckon an invoice to Matt Handjob for £3m for half an hours work should be about right. What do you reckon?

You're an example to is all, Barry. Such modest charges under the circumstances! :-D

BTW, are Oxford proposing to provide some form of proof of having been vaccinated? Govey was claiming this morning that no such thing was intended by government, and all the businesses that might need to know who'd been jabbed (such as the hospitality sector) could sort that out among themselves. Then Zahawi popped up and said he had Dido working on it. What could possibly go wrong!!! :-D

Seems about the going rate though to qualify you have to join the spivs party which gives you unlimited access to Sunaks slush fund. Johnson then throws 'contracts' at you for not supplying anything. But really as a bloke in the IT industry, you're a tad over qualified for printing sticky labels. Tell government you knock pelmets up in a shed and double your pay rate as printing is not your specialty.

Have you not "Gloated" in the past how much you got paid by the EU? ;-) .......

Just askin :D .......

Trouble is with Barrys history you dont know if thats the truth or a work of fiction ... I favour the fiction

I seem to recall him saying in the "other place" how well paid he was ;-) .......

The implication being that he was overpaid........or in todays common parlance he had money Spaffed at him >:-) ........

"you had to jump through some considerable hoops and accreditations to make the team" ... Chuckle ... Thats why his knees are knackered ... Old BJ Barry

Seeing as I am being accused of extorting money out of the government and as it seems open season for spaffing money left right and centre, I reckon an invoice to Matt Handjob for £3m for half an hours work should be about right. What do you reckon?

Seems about the going rate though to qualify you have to join the spivs party which gives you unlimited access to Sunaks slush fund. Johnson then throws 'contracts' at you for not supplying anything. But really as a bloke in the IT industry, you're a tad over qualified for printing sticky labels. Tell government you knock pelmets up in a shed and double your pay rate as printing is not your specialty.

I did notice the labels all had a Union Jack Logo with Johnsons face on so Ive fixed that.

Look out for the new logo when you get your jab. (lol)
