Bulletguy Posted July 29, 2019 Share Posted July 29, 2019 Brexit could spell end of Ellesmere Port plant, says Vauxhall owner The Ellesmere Port plant employs more than 1,000 workers. If it closed, it would leave Vauxhall’s Luton-based van plant as the company’s last presence in the UK. His comments came after the UK’s car trade body warned Boris Johnson on Friday that a no-deal Brexit posed an “existential threat” to the car manufacturing industry in the UK. I traded it in whilst it was back at Vauxhall's factory being repaired (It was that bad 8-) )........ For a Transit which also turned out to be sh*te *-) ....... It is understood the new technology in transit was to switch the joinery of panels of the new 2021 hybrid models from welding to adhesive.
