Maggie was pro Europe. It was part of her speech in 1975 where she campaigned to remain as members! And I think one of Maggies best comments was; you don't cure a spoilt child by throwing money at them. Yet it seems the Tories didnt know what they were voting for and now want to trash their own deal and break international law. She found it easier to deal with foreign dictators than British trade unions. But she was a hard worker with a grasp of detail - a research chemist who would have made a far better job of handling covid than BoJo. She would have been on it.
