arzangees
We are gong to southern Spain for 3 months this winter for the first time and we wondered if anyone could help with what things might be expensive or difficult to get there. For example, tea, Bovril, which I love(There's no accounting for tastes :-D ). If there are other thngs we would be very grateful to hear about them. Guest Syd
Maybe you should be asking "what foods can I take into Europe" because of the foot and mouth restrictions
Tomo3090
We found that most siupermarkets sell a good selection of Brit foods, especially the larger ones on the costas., and it is sometimes cheaper too. Eating out is cheap enough though, especially Tapas. Cooked chickens are available in many places and are about 5-7 Euros, that with fresh bread is all you need for a good meal. Fish and seafood is readily available. Thre one thing we couldn't find for love nor money was Shredded Wheat! So save your van weight and buy it there! Available, like most other "Brit" must have item, in any Mercadona. 100's [probably 1000's] of them in Spain. .
