couscous
i have a high-top camper and am wanting to get insect blinds for the side door or if it is more effective to keep out insects, the back door. has anybody any thoughts on the effectiveness of blinds for high-top doors. have seen advertised the chenille blinds and those that are like nets. would appreciate anyone's opinions on them. twooks
The chenille blinds - as used by Hymer types - always seem to cause more trouble and catch the wind too much. We've always used netting strips weighted at the bottom. Neither give full coverage but nets are more effective - imo that is. B-)

Don Madge
couscous - 2007-05-02 5:13 PM thanks for that reply, much appreciated. We have made a insect blind for the side (sliding) door of our Timberland. It's far too complicated to describe here. If you want to have a look see we will be at the rest of the Warner shows this year. Don
