Hello Michele,

I translated your message to my Lizzy. Sorry, she cannot help, but she agreed to bring you a pheasant, rabbit or partridge if you blow the right signal on a whistle. In season, of course.

Hello Michele,

Sorry to disappoint, but Lizzy is an extremely willing Springer Spaniel although unable to make chutney. We shall get off your thread now. Apologies for not coming up with an answer.

BUT,

A thought has come to mind before logging off. My wife (not Lizzy) won a book prize when at school. Philip Harben, sometimes quoted in the the Press as being the first TV Chef from back in the 50's. I once made a chutney from his recipe and it was excellent. Try to obtain a copy. Good old fashioned recipes.

WAVE!!! I'm in here as Leah too 'cos I couldn't log in with my old password ;-)

I'll ask hubby. He has a couple of good recipe books to delve into.

Welcome Springer Spaniel Lizzy - I have a show cocker on sleep over so have been out and about across the fields trying to tire him out :-D
