Dancer
Used to be the Brandon Bees when I watched speedway. Good for them.I supported the Belle Vue Aces. That shows how long ago it was.

crinklystarfish
Probably because any sport that consists of counting to two then turning left is about as interesting as one of handyman's posts.
howie
Each to their own Crinkly. I do remember a charity race where all the top stars took part but instead of going the usual anti-clockwise they had to race the other way and they all fell off at the first bend. Bet thats piqued your interest.
donna miller
Used to live right next to the stadium at Brandon, Spent most saturday nights sneaking over the fence round the back of the stands. 8-)
crinklystarfish
The truth is that I have a great deal of respect for the riders' skills and wish to withdraw my statement. It was unfair to compare speedway with handyman's posts. The sport is far more interesting, as is being asleep.
