ROON Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 Dave., what the photos don't show is the fact that we had torrential rain a lot of the times and the walks were in the rain, and the aftermath of it. I had a pair of £3 lilac wellies and was walking through the deep puddles quite happily ...... until guess who crept up behind me and JUMPED in it ..... My jeans, only pair of jeans with me, got SOAKED and Janine just laughed. Seems there are a few of us waiting to get our own back on someone.... :-D ;-) Also, we went through this really really long canal tunnel with no lights and it was pitch black. Really scarey. Think Gary might have some pictures of one end of it. (He was lucky to come out the other end - we contemplated throwing him in. ) It was like Jack the Ripper era all eerie. 8-) 8-) Joy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am now going to try and post my photos for the weekend away but I apologise as they are rubbish compared to everyone else's. Here goes ... First photo is Julie and me Second photo is Gaz doing his usual refusing to have a piccy taken Third is all of us having lunch in Oswestry outside the pub in the sun Then Trouble and Pest Then my daughter and me on a bike ride in Slimbridge, Shepherds Patch lovely weekend ThenMy new bike :-D Then my new bike again. :-D :-D I have lots of others of swans and cows etc but Gary puts me to shame. *-) Joy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
