francheezy
Hi Everyone, I am trying to find out any information or experience that anyone may have on taking a mobility scooter away in a motorhome, my husband is looking to get one shortly and it will have to go inside the motorhome, which is a SeA dinghy 1 (2002). Any help would be gratefully received. :-D
Randonneur
Saw a lady using one at a local supermarket this week and it was broken down into parts that they were able to put it into the boot of a car, this one would have been ideal but unfortunately didn't take note of the make but commented that it would be ideal for a motorhome. So there are models out there which would be suitable.
Derek Uzzell
Fran sought advice about mobility scooters last December, but the idea then was to carry the scooter on a platform at the rear of the motorhome. This link is to the previous discussion http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Hints-and-Tips/Platform-to-hold-a-mobility-scooter/40398/ and may still have relevance although Fran’s original plan has been revised.
