Sundowner Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 I called in to Tesco's in Henley-on-Thames last week and the lads that run the car wash there agreed to wash our Adria Comfort for £20 wash and go, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. They made a good job of it and put the smallest and lightest lad up on the roof. I gave the roof man £5 "danger money"! I could have paid an extra £10 to have it shammied off afterwards. When I got home the "management" was satisfied but said I should have paid the extra, and I had to agree. I thought it was good value for money and will use them again. I think they operate as a franchise rather than being employed directly by Tesco. For this reason, it will possibly depend on which branch you visit. Last year it cost me over £40 in a large commercial wash, and was on the way to a wash in Reading when I called in to Tesco, so it also saved time and fuel as well!
