jmbeevers Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 Prior to an extended trip abroad I gave the tyres on our Tracker EKS an extra good check up and decided to purchase some replacements, which was carried out yesterday. On giving them a good coat of looking at this morning I was dismayed to find 1 tyre was manufactured 10 weeks ago and the other 103 weeks ago. After several phone calls to the people I purchased from on line and our local fitters, I ended up at Continentals customer service department which like every body else, I was told there is no problem even though they admitted they scrap any tyre that has been in stock for more than 2 years the motto of this story I feel, find out how to tell the age of tyres and check your replacement before they are fitted.
