I agree with Alan, we've been to them twice and will be using them again this year. They're really good with nervous dogs, tempting them with treats to get them to swallow the worming tablet, unlike some who will force them down the dog's throat.

 

We stay at a les Castels site in Guines for our last 1 or 2 nights before returning to the UK, Ardres is just 5 mins from there. Like Ardres, it's a small town but has a great market on Fridays.

Hi just to let you know that french vets have have now been instructed to only use an injection for worms, never had a problem finding a vet get on the municipal camp site and ask at reception, have taken the dog since the pets passport came out and never booked a vet they have allways been willing to do it straight away or next day , Malcolm

French vets where instructed in september 2007 to only use injections for worms, we questioned this as we did not want the dog to have a injection and was shown the letter from the ministry , whether the vets will comply with this I do not know, we know what the French are like
