The finest thing that I've ever had is what looks like a normal rectangular sponge but it's covered in a fine but strong mesh, similar to a fishing net material.

It's absolutely brilliant for removing flies, just wet it and give it a strong wipe over. As you press the sponge against the glass the thread of the mesh must scrape off the flies without damaging the paint or glass.

I've previously bought them in France but they may be available here now.

Unfortunately, I'm too old now to have to worry about buying baby wipes! Well my wife is anyway, I'm obviously still in my prime and fertile and rampant as ever!
