old scot Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 hi , hoping someone can help, have 2006 Elddis autoquest 180 on boxer chasis withwith 2.2 Peugeot engine. battery was flat and when I tried to remove it, I fond that the rear positive terminal appears to be covered with some type of terminal wiring block with no apparent means to access terminal....can anyone advise please ...likely going to be yet another senior moment :-( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
StuartO Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 My 2006 Fiat based MH (engine/cowl unit from the same factory) also has a terminal block on the rear, positive terminal. Remove the negative terminal first and push it aside, then have a good look at the positive one because there is a clamping nut or bolt, I think it's a 10mm. paulmold Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 On my Boxer of 2006 (same as Fiat) the terminal block is on a spring loaded base with lugs that clip under the lip of the battery.
