Wallynnette Posted July 12, 2015 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Hi all, since we had our 1st Fiat 'van and now our Peugeot 'van I've been getting fed up with the silly little drainage tube on the drivers side blocking up. Been unscrewing the small panel and carefully prizing off to get to the tube to unblock it by pushing a wire down it to clear debri. So many times I see the 'well' under the wiper full of water and not draining away. I had in my garage an Am Tech deluxe syphon pump and thought, I wonder. Anyway I used the dipstick pipe that comes with it which slides up the drain tube, blew it to clear any debri, wiped it clean poured water in the 'well' and pumped away til it had sucked it all through then did it again for good measure. Why I didn't think of it before I don't know, but its quicker, simpler no chance of damageing the small panel and its cheap.
