Matrix Meanderer Posted September 21, 2020 Share Posted September 21, 2020 My Nordelettronica NE237 control box has suddenly gone into grumpy mode and is displaying an E1 error "serial cable connection is wrong" No idea why this has appeared on the control panel of our Adria Coral :-S I've only removed a directly wired Bluetooth tyre pressure monitoring control unit but that's all. Just two wires, one to each terminal. No unattached cables or loose wires around the hab battery so wondering why I've got the error message. Any suggestions? Matrix Meanderer Posted September 23, 2020 Author Share Posted September 23, 2020 PROBLEM SOLVED The error message was caused by the touch screen becoming half detached from the wall mounted control panel. :'( It detached completely very soon afterwards. Poor and flimsy design by NordElettronica - the touch screen is/was held on by just two sets of four solder points! Surprised that it lasted 30 months with that design. New panel sorted the issue.
