Guest Alf W Posted November 15, 2005 Share Posted November 15, 2005 Sounds as if you've got a bad connection somewhere - copper braiding touching central core of cable. Though the usual roof top aerial is not brilliant it will give a picture except in really poor reception conditions. Check the cable to plug connections I suggest. Guest Derek Uzzell Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 If you still can't get a good picture after checking the installation, you might consider one of the Status 530 range of directional aerials (see www.gradeuk.co.uk) that have received good press reports.
