Mediumbird
Hi. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to do this. Fiamma rear door 2 bike rack in a Ducato van conversion and looking to carry skis. Have looked on the Fiamma website to see if they have any adapters but can't find any. Any suggestions gratefully received!
thebishbus
If the skis are in bags, why not just strap them onto the bike rack with bicycle toe clip straps. Brian B PS . you may have to clip two straps together .
Billggski
As most skis are now less than the width of a van, you could lay them across the bars and tie them down. I'm lucky to have a roof rack so no problems, and when we go in a land rover I picked up a spare wheel carrier from ebay. Just try themin different ways. But if you have a towbar..... http://buzzrack.com/galleries/buzzski/
Keithl
I was thinking more like removing the drop down part of the carrier and cycle rails, then strapping the skis vertically up the frame of the carrier. Strapping the skis below the bindings would stop them sliding down. Keith.
