anniej46
Has anyone been to this aire? Any good? Is electric still free?
Stuwsmith
We were there in 2013 and electric was free. Stopped again there in 2014 for night and no electric and some broken electric points. The aire was free but there was a flot bleu. We didn't find the village that interesting but there were some pleasant local country walks about. Roryboy
A Campercontact review 15/1/2019 - Visited on December 30, 2018 through January 1, 2019. Perfect overnight stay. All facilities present and free, so discharge, water intake and power 16A. Top of this place. Baker (Le Fournil De Courson) 200 meters away, has delicious freshly baked baguette and homemade macarons. Here we will certainly return in the future. We were here with old and new 2018-2019. Well worth getting Campercontact, don't you think ?
monique.hubrechtsgm
Looks everything is for free their. What did you pay for a day? Charging your batteries, heating your motorhome, in summer airco , etc etc,. Leaving uploaded. The two stage macrons in different colors of white of eggs is a matter of taste. I wiil take a Calvados there. Nice tip for sure in Normand.
Derek Uzzell
The indications are that parking and services at this ‘aire’ are all free at present, though I note that this entry http://www.lisieux-tourisme.com/hebergement/aire-de-stationnement-et-de-services-notre-dame-de-courson/ states that there is a €2 charge as indicated on the photo of the Flot Bleu service-pedestal. Roryboy
Derek - the information on the link you provide is about a year old so it may have changed - the recent Campercontact reviewer seems to indicate everything is free.
Derek Uzzell
Sure - and, given the risk of vandalism/theft from French service-pedestals that need coinage to use them, it may well be the case that, although a €2 charge is clearly shown on the service-pedestal, in reality no money is needed to use any of the swervices. (I can’t see any sign of 230V connections at/near the hardstanding parking places, so I assume ‘hooking up’ means connecting to the service-pedestal.)
